What defines Noir Platinum’s construction?
Noir Platinum combines a mirror-finished lacquer exterior, Spanish cedar lining and trays, heavy-duty corrosion-resistant hardware and replaceable winding modules. Its upper humidor and lower watch compartment provide separate storage environments within one integrated cabinet.
What is the exterior finish?
Noir Platinum features deep black, mirror-finished lacquer with silver platinum-toned details. The reflective surface and clean lines give the cabinet its distinctive contemporary appearance.
Where is Spanish cedar used?
Spanish cedar is used for the humidor’s interior lining and cigar trays. The surrounding cabinet structure supports the exterior finish and integrated watch-winding section.
How are the cigars and watches kept separate?
The humidor sits above the watch-winding compartment. A sealed division separates the humidified cigar space from the dry watch compartment and its winding hardware.
How does the concealed RFID lock work?
Present an authorized owner card at the concealed reader location to release the watch-compartment lock. The reader sits behind the exterior surface, keeping the front free of a visible keyhole.
How many owner cards come with Noir Platinum?
Two branded EMBER & HOUR owner cards are included. Keep the second card in a separate location as a spare.
Does the RFID lock secure the humidor?
The RFID lock controls access to the watch-winding compartment. The upper humidor opens separately and does not use this lock.
How is the lock powered?
The RFID lock uses a separate battery supply housed in an isolated, serviceable compartment. The lock batteries do not power the watch winders.
How do I insert or remove a watch?
Open the single front door to access all four winding positions. Remove a cushion, fit your watch around it and return it to its winding module. To remove a watch, take out the cushion and release the bracelet or strap.
Can individual winding modules be replaced?
Yes. Noir Platinum uses replaceable branded winding modules, allowing an individual unit to be serviced or replaced without replacing the entire cabinet.
How are the watch winders powered?
The winding system uses plug-in power through an external wall transformer and a conventional DC connection. A USB charger is not required.
What hardware is used?
Noir Platinum uses heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant hinges and fittings, with visible hardware finished in a silver platinum tone.
Is there space for a lighter and cutter?
Yes. The upper humidor level includes dedicated accessory space for a lighter and cutter, keeping them organized alongside your cigar collection.
What is the difference between Noir Platinum and Noir Damier?
Noir Platinum has a continuous mirror-black exterior. Noir Damier introduces a black-and-charcoal checkered finish with platinum-toned details. Each product page lists the specifications for that model.
